Mariane Héroux is a registered Holistic Nutritionist and is the owner and lead nutritionist of Activize Nutrition Services in Kingston, Ontario. Mariane obtained her holistic nutrition degree from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She also has a BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, an MSc in Community Health and Epidemiology from Queen's University, and is currently working on her PhD in Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen's University. Mariane's current research focuses on childhood obesity and obesity prevention through nutrition and physical activity initiatives. Nutrition has always been an important part of Mariane's life. As a former provincial gymnast and avid sports enthusiast, she truly understands the impact and significance of nutrition for optimal performance and overall general health. Mariane hopes that she can guide and educate individuals in making healthy food choices as a means of improving their health and well-being and achieving their goals.
